Studies On Contemporary Chinese Best-seller Novels

This study looked at Chinese bestseller novels from2001to2012, and analyzedthe essence of bestsellers and the contemporary Chinese literature. I focused myresearch on the contemporaryChinese literature,“Three doors”,“City of fantasy”,“WolfTotem” and “Story oflala’s promotion”.“Han Han phenomenon” is diversified culture phenomenon, at the same time, thisis also a educational phenomenon or a creative social phenomenon.” This is related toour educational world, the culture circle and every society. However, there are divergentopinions about “Han Han phenomenon”. Han Han through “Three doors”, he showed ushis true feelings. He has criticized social and educational problems. His novel is writtenin a unique style, and he described a teen’s daily life and their trouble, Han Han treatedthe real and fundamental problems.“City of fantasy” is a contemporary fantasy novel, his description has animationfactor. But GuoJingminghas copied Japanese animation clamp’s structure, somescholars criticized him. So I tried to analyse this novel’s repute.After “Wolf Totem” came out in2004, it has been controversial. About The wolffrom a book and literary value, people have two conflicting opinions. However, JiangRong treated about thought conflict, a racial and culture problem in his book, and in thisrespect,“Wolf Totem”has the value of the novel.In the Chinese book market, workplace novels have been purchased by a lot ofpeoplesince its publication. Some people praised workplace novels pretty highly, butothers take the opposite view. In the past, it is rare that a workplace novels aboutcorporate life.
