The general trend of modern display design is transiting from material design to non-material design and from the entity design to spiritual quasi-physical design.Display trend is not only a kind of visual art design, but also a space art for information transmission. Display design aims at creating a space environment full of artistic appeal by means of various integrated design technique to make the audience accept the designer’s message. How to make the display space designing creation as well as theory research from the perspective of a higher and more special view is our supposed exploring direction.At present, experience marketing is the leading marketing mode, which means that people’s sensory experience should be fully considered while designing display space. However, the Chinese traditional garden sightseeing is an experiencing process. The garden-making design process bears the unique inner feeling of the garden owners and gives visitors the unique artistic conception enjoyment. Taking display space’s current situation as the starting point, this paper comprehensively analyzes the current situation of the existing brand clothing’s display space and makes in-depth studies on traditional garden-making techniques through the analysis of traditional garden’s characteristics. Also analysis has been probed into how to apply the traditional garden-making techniques to display space designing of modern clothing brand, build brand personality by creating artistic conception, increase the spatial experience and manifest the display space in line with brand culture to bring new design ideas for the of brand clothing’s display space design.
