During the Spring and Autumn and Warring States Period, scholars travel far away, while the westward is more prevalent. This paper focuses on the westbound scholars during the Spring and Autumn and Warring States Period, from literature, combining sociology, measurement history, to explore its basic status.Firstly, discusses the various sectors of society.Secondly, analyzes the characteristics of westbound scholars in space and time, that the west occupies a high proportion of the scholars’ travel activities in the Spring and Autumn Period; spatially, scholars westbound flow into the courtry mainly for Qin, outflows mainly for Chu; on time, scholars focused on the late Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States period, and exacerbate social change and Qin in the west of the Central Plains rising inseparable.Thirdly, overviews information about purposes and behaviors, divided scholars in five categories:preach doctrine, national policy reform, diplomatic lobbying, military war and assassins paladin.Finally, analyzes the reasons and results of scholars, that the national policy guidance, personal values reflect is the main reasons; we have had far-reaching impact to society at the Spring and Autumn Period, on the later of society, even today.
