Study On The Literature Of Japanese Pirates’ Invading And The Anti-Japanese War In Jiajing Period Of Ming Dynasty

The literature of Jiajing period of Ming Dynasty was greatly affected by the invasion of Japanese Pirates. Fortunately, the literati of Jiajing period did not immerse themselves in the pain from Japanese Pirates,but they tried to create literature based on the typical social and historical phenomena, which were the Ancient Japan’s aggression to Ming Dynasty and the War of resistance against Ancient Japan. And then, all of the factors formed the distinct and unique literature of Jiajing period, which possessed the characteristics of Jiajing period and cultural connotations. The thesis research and explore the literature on the Ancient Japan’s aggression to Ming Dynasty and the War of Resistance against Ancient Japan in Jiajing period from the following four aspects:the Ancient Japan’s aggression to Ming Dynasty,Japanese Pirates, the War of Resistance against Ancient Japan, the hero who fight against Japanese Pirates. Based on the rich presentation of the literature facts in that period and following the clues of the Ancient Japan’s aggression to Ming Dynasty and the War of Resistance against Ancient Japan, this paper will show the literary ecology of that period and the psychology of those literati.This paper is divided into three parts:introduction, main body and conclusion.In the introduction, researches on the literature of Japanese pirates’ invading and the anti-Japanese war in Jiajing period of Ming Dynasty are reviewed. Several new places where academic seniors in the same field have not expounded are concluded in this part. The part present this paper’s value and research ideas.The first chapter is the Ancient Japan’s aggression to Ming Dynasty and the War of resistance against Ancient Japan with the Literature of Jiajing period of Ming Dynasty. This chapter has two sections. The first section discuss the fundamental relationship between and among the Ancient Japan’s aggression to Ming Dynasty, the War of resistance against Ancient Japan and the literature of Jiajing period of Ming Dynasty. Only we definite the interaction between the two,can we carry on the further study.The second chapter is the Literature about the Ancient Japan’s aggression to Ming Dynasty. The Chapter Explores the literature on the Ancient Japan’s aggression to Ming Dynasty from three dimensions:General People, Literati, Jiajing period of Ming Dynasty. In this way, readers can deeply understand this history from literary perspective.The third chapter is the Literature about Japanese Pirates. This Chapter focus on several types of Japanese Pirates created by the Literati of jiajing period of Ming Dynasty. The common characteristics of Japanese Pirates are concluded.The profound reasons why the common characteristics are formed are explored.The fourth chapter is the Literature about the War of resistance against Ancient Japan. First, the chapter extracts four features of the literature text about the War of resistance against Ancient Japan. Next, this chapter studies one particular case.The fifth chapter is the Literature about the heroes who fight against Japanese Pirates. This chapter explores literary images of the hero who fight against Japanese Pirates and the mentality of the literati who wrote these heroes. Next, this chapter discusses Qi Jiguang’s case in order to analyse the relations between the hero and the literature.In the conclusion, the paper evaluates the value and influence of this unique literature in Ming Dynasty, sums up this research and expresses the hope and suggestion of deeper study on this topic.
