Homosexuality is a unique social and cultural phenomenon, but also an unavoidable social and medical problems, with the development of society, the issue of homosexuality has increasingly become a hot social concern. But this is a special group in the society by gay whether they think life, the normal way does not only depend on their own and psychiatrists on gay issues opinions, but decided in the very great degree inrecognition of the extent of the gay social public. Europe, North America and South America acceptance of homosexuality is very high, in Europe, sailing in the country of origin of Portugal and Spain have recognition of same-sex marriage, the Nordic countries Sweden, Norway also has to recognize same-sex marriage, Finlandwill soon recognize, Western Europe also has several countries recognize same-sex marriage such as Germany Holland Austria, the most conservative although the British in the gay political rights progress is slow, but the acceptance of gay society is very high.In Vietnam, the gradually opening up, economic development and social concept of homosexuality as a socialproblem gradually surfaced. Along with the western culture due east to diversified idea influence, more and more homosexuals. While Vietnam as a fairly traditional country, the homosexual phenomenon exists seriousignorance, prejudice and misunderstanding. Vietnam on gay issues lack of research in many aspects, thereforein understanding natural inconsistency.College students represent a high cultural qualities of the population, cultural environment is more open, morereceptive to new ideas, new ideas, and strong plasticity, their cognition and attitude to homosexuality representsan important development direction of the whole social cognition and attitude. Therefore, a survey of college students is conducive to the understanding of the whole society to gay people cognition and attitude, and has a certain guiding significance for the further development of health education, the gay prejudice.Therefore, in this paper, Vietnam university freshman year to four of all undergraduates randomly selectedsample with certain questionnaire based survey, accurate and comprehensive understanding of school studentson gay specific view. Using relevant data, draw the conclusion, so as to put forward relevant to college students’ Ideological and to promote the role of the proposal, and provide a little help for the purpose of Ideological Education in Colleges and universities.Objective:To survey on the status of gay cognitive Vietnamese students.Methods:the extraction from a university college students 1050 people, to the letter, self-made high validity of Vietnamese students gay cognitive questionnaire sampling method.Results:(1) Investigation of gay cognitive science Vietnam students in liberal arts college students, good attitude ismore tolerant. Different gender, different growth environment and only child and non only child college studentsare not remarkable to the Vietnamese gay perception and its differences and gender roles.(2) Students on the investigation of Vietnam between gay cognition has significant positive correlation,according to the cognitive situation better predict their attitude can be.(3) The first contact with the word "gay" time of different college students’ cognition and attitude to homosexualityexist significant difference. Conclusion:College Students’ correct cognition on homosexuality can help themtake a more tolerant attitude to homosexuality.
