| The rapid development of modern society has led to an increasing demand for men and women,and the clear division of labor for men and women has gradually diminished,more and more people are engaged in work that was previously considered to be the opposite sex.At the same time,modern society needs talents with decisive,bold,meticulous,compassionate and other characteristics.The stereotypes of traditional gender roles have been impacted,and the gender-oriented gender education,which is more conducive to the all-round development of people,has emerged.A large number of studies have shown that androgyny personality has more advantages in terms of interpersonal communication and social adaptability.The child stage is the key period for the socialization of individual gender roles.Therefore,cultivating children’s androgynous cognition is very important for their comprehensive development.Based on this,this paper takes the gender role cognition of children in primary school as the research topic,and takes the children of W Community Children’s House in Wuhan as the research object,by using Bem’s Gender Role Scale and Cheng Li’s The Adolescent Gender Role Belief Scale screened out eight children who met the study criteria as the “become a better self” group members.From the perspective of the bisexual education,the author through the group’s four-stage service,progressively,helps the team members to establish correct self-identity and break through the stereotypes of gender roles,thus integrating multiple personality traits and enhancing gender roles bisexual cognition in a pleasant group atmosphere.At the end of the group,the paper examines the effectiveness of the group’s services through results evaluation and process evaluation.According to the evaluation results,most of the group members have improved and promoted the gender role difference cognition,gender role stereotype cognition,gender role androgynous cognition.Moreover,some members ofthe group have also improved their speech and behavioral attacks on other children due to stereotyped gender roles cognition,which proves that the group service has achieved the goal of raising children’s gender role cognition.Research findings: 1.The gender role cognition of children in primary school has the problem of lack of cognition of gender role difference,serious cognition of gender role stereotype,and lack of androgynous cognition.2.Androgyny education can help children integrate gender advantages and has positive significance for improving children’s gender role cognition. |
