According to American psychologist Bern's multiple models of sex scheme in 1974, college students were divided into four gender role types, they are masculine, femininity, androgynous and undifferentiated. But now Chinese and foreign scholars have not reached the same conclusion.In this study,755 college students of Shan Xi as subjects, we use correlation and regression analysis, analyzing the gender role types of college students, parenting style, life satisfaction and the relationship of them. The purpose of research is to improve the parenting style, gender role types of college students, their quality of life and their physical and mental health. The main results of this study are as follows:1. The main types of college gender roles are androgynous and undifferentiated.The distribution sequence was androgynous, undifferentiated, feminine and masculine.2. Gender,home location,parents in different occupations, educational level, monthly income of parents and other demographic variables have certain influence on parenting style.3. Life satisfaction of all the college students'average score is 5.06. Satisfaction is above average. The difference of gender, family location, grade, subject, family income and other demographic variables have significant different effects on certain specific areas of life satisfaction.4. The student of androgynous are higher level in all life satisfaction than other three types; But undifferentiated are lower level than other types.5. Parenting style on college students through the masculinity and femininity have impacted on life satisfaction.
