The Research Of Huizhou Lacquering Craft

Huizhou lacquerware plays an important role in the history of Chinese lacquerware.The related research on Huizhou lacquering craft was very weak in the past,which didn’t match with the value and the status.The suggestions on the inheritance and protection are put forward based on researching the development process of the history, the craft process,the present situation of the inheritance and protection.It can be divided into four parts:The first part includes the purpose as well as the significance of the research and related researches, which lists the research methods.The second part reveals the historical development of Huizhou lacquering craft according to the development of the era, which includes three stages:the early development of lacquerware,the ancient Huizhou lacquerware,modern and contemporary Huizhou lacquerware,and summarizes the whole historical development of Huizhou lacquering craft.According to the five categories of Huizhou lacquering craft, the third part includes the craft process,the major types of Huizhou lacquerware and the notable characteristics of Huizhou lacquering craft, and makes an analysis through comparing Huizhou lacquering craft with Yangzhou, Fuzhou, Beijing,Pingyao of Shanxi lacquering craft.The fourth part reveals the present situation of the protection, the heritage unit and inheritor based on field investigation,and puts forward the problems on the inheritance and protection of Huizhou lacquering craft.The causes of every problem are separately analysed on and the suggestions are put forward. The feasibility of the industrialization development road is analysed on through the comprehensive research.
