Along with the progress of science and technology, the railway transport system has changed dramatically. Compared with others, the electric locomotive boasts incomparable advantages in the railway traction field, thus more and more countries begin to attach much importance to the development of electric locomotive. Since the past decade, China has generated impressive results in the development of railway technology especially high-speed railway. It has entered into the era of high-speed rail, exported railway and high-speed technology abroad. During the process of culture and technology exchanges, the interpreter plays an important role in setting up a bridge of language and technology between China and the world.This report is a description of a consecutive interpretation of a training program in the MMM southern line in 2014.Through the summary to the interpreting of the training over TCMS(electric locomotive control system), TOD(electric locomotive power systems), pantograph, braking air pressure system, it aims to explore the matters should be paid attention to of the interpreter,the translation strategies and solutions in the process of interpreting activities.The report is divided into four parts. The first part is the task description, introducing the background of the mission and task requirements. The second part is the description of task process, focusing on discussing the whole process of interpreting.The third part is the analysis, and it will study the translation strategies and responding measures in the process of interpreting. The fourth part will summarize the task. The last part will provide a guide for the study in the future.
