This is a report based on the interpreting practice of "2018 Seminar on Tourist Personnel Training for Maldives" The author concludes his consecutive interpreting process with the interpretive theory, which is an important theory for interpreting process study. The interpretive theory argues that interpreting is not a unidirectional decoding process but a dynamic one where interpreter should get a comprehension of the source content,de-verbalize the source language, grasp the sense, and reformulate it in his target language. The author also lists many examples of his interpreting practice where he adopts various interpreting strategies, such as omission, amplification, free interpreting, and logical analysis to support his interpreting practice. This report consists of five chapters.Chapter one is the introduction to this interpreting practice;Chapter two is preparation for this interpreting practice;Chapter three is the theory framework;in Chapter four the author lists a number of cases involving the salient features in consecutive interpreting studies;and Chapter five is conclusion.
