Success Factors Of The Twenty-First Century Korean Spy Films

After the 1990s, rapid development of Korean film made it not only dominate the domestic market but also won the honor several times in three major European film festivals and created considerable international influence.Spy Films occupy an important position in Korean film, the unique political and cultural background of in the Korean peninsula builds the unique of the Korean spy films which is a mixture of Hollywood shooting style and refined local elements. All these elements finally result in a number of popular and critically acclaimed Spy Films. This paper attempts to analyze the geopolitical relations and cultural content of the twenty-first century Korean Spy Films from three aspects.
