Every child’s growth is accompanied by the memory that was brought by children’s film. Different films record different periods of people’s childhood, which become the precious storage section of the film world. As the target audience of this kind of movies, children have curiosity, imagination, curiosity and other psychological demands, and thus require a corresponding cultural and artistic works to satisfy their desire for the unknown world. The children’s film undertakes the mission to achieve their aspirations with important artistic mission. Now look at the Chinese film market, there are very few children’s movies, especially the proportion of live-action children’s films. Furthermore,the animated films for children are almost in the view of adults.In this paper, a total of nearly 3,000 questionnaires are taken from children of 6-14 years’ old in Shanghai Aiju primary, Tian Lin No.3 Middle School, Xuzhou City, Jiangsu Province, seeking primary, the first primary Lakeside, Zhongshan Foreign Language schools and secondary schools for the survey, viewing status and audience psychology, and carried out extensive questionnaires true. Complemented by the development of children’s films, we make recommendations on this basis. In this paper, child centered theory as a starting point, remedy and clarify the definition of children’s films, and on the domestic children’s film status quo do comprehensive analysis, to explore the Chinese children’s film achievements in terms of creation itself, audio-visual effects, declared fat and means as well as the presence of problem, and this is prospected.This paper is composed by five chapters. Chapter 1: Introduction. The research background, questions and ideas, significance, methods and innovation were combed analysis. Chapter 2: Correction of the concept and definition of children’s films, and meeting the needs of contemporary children’s film to define market needs, combing the history of Chinese children’s film development, discussing from infancy, growth, peak period and the four stages of its transition The main style and creative forms also introduced the process of investigation of this experiment. Chapter 3: Organize the survey of Chinese children’s film based on the audience’s status quo order. Analyzing the Grasping of the audience. Chapter 4: The creation of children’s films, showing the functional performance, theme style, subject matter type and the story; Analysis of contemporary domestic animated film with animation and live-action movies and playing development; elaborating children’s films from the perspective of production film production process to show picture, sound, acting and editing effects. Chapter 5: Through the study of the status quo, revealing the problems of domestic children’s films including creating the content itself, limiting creative talent, the imperfect releasing of market research and publicity, and brand consciousness. Chapter 6: The development of Chinese Children’s Film Market Solutions must take strong solutions, not only meeting the demands of the audience and broaden the types of subject matter, innovative techniques, but also promoting the organic integration of schools and children’s theater film screenings, so as to widen channels to form children’s film industry chain, looking forward to the international market.
