A Comparative Study Of Chinese And Japanese Numeral Classifiers And The Enlightenment On Chinese Teaching

For Chinese and Japanese, the quantifiers are widely used is probably one of the common characteristics of the two languages. For Chinese people,how to use the quantifier correctly in different conditions, seems to be conventional.But for native speakers of Japanese,it will be annoying.Even become a huge plagued in their Chinese learning.So, in this paper,we will discuss and identify the similarities and differences between them.Based on the "Japanese-Chinese Dictionary" which included 107 Japanese quantifiers. The paper is divided into three parts: First, analyze the basic definition and classification which revealed the similarities and differences between Chinese and Japanese quantifiers classification methods. the Japanese and Chinese quantifiers meaning and usage were be compared.Second, the Chinese and Japanese language has a lot of character. Based on this important feature, the paper will sum up the point.In Japanese and Chinese, even same characters have different meanings, So far, there are lots of comparison study of Japanese and Chinese classifiers,most of the study mainly focused on broad research journals. There is no comparison in a more comprehensive which focus on the whole dictionary or a very few.
