With the development of global integration,Eastern cultures and Western cultures are integrated in exchanges.Western sports culture has always been loved and sought after by the people of the world because of its competitiveness and appreciation.However,in recent years,with the development/growth of Chinese economy and overall national strength,its sports culture has also begun to receive worldwide attention.Among them,as a traditional Chinese folk sports,lion dance has flashed around the world because of its unique charm and different Cultural appreciation.Particularly,the lion dance under on the Confucius Institute platform has gradually attracted attention as the Confucius Institute has opened everywhere.This study starts with a survey of the current situation of lion dance activities in Confucius Institutes,and conducts a brief analysis of the current status of lion dance activities on the Confucius Institutes around the world through online research and literature.Then,basing on the survey results of some Confucius Institutes in Thailand,as well as some interviews with relevant teachers and participants,a detailed analysis of the needs of Confucius Institute participants was conducted.On this basis,this study combines its own practice to make a specific lion dance experience class teaching design.This study is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is the preface,including the background and problem of the topic,the research object,the research method,the research purpose and significance,the research content,the definition of the concept and the literature review of the relevant research results.The second chapter is the investigation and analysis of the current situation of lion dance teaching activities in Confucius Institute.Because the lion dance movement has activities in the Confucius Institutes around the world,this study has established three investigation modules in order to understand the lion dance teaching activities under the Confucius Institute platform.The first module is the news information module of the Hanban “Confucius Institute of the Internet”;the second module is the official website of the “Confucius Institute's Chinese Advanced Cooperation Agency”,which is a statistical analysis of the relevant literature.The third module is the questionnaire of the status and needs of lion dance teaching activities at the Confucius Institute at the Queen's University in Thailand.Through theinvestigation and the understand the status quo,it is found that the lion dance movement has indeed been carried out.However,as a form of watching performances,there is no way to achieve the intrinsic effect of cultural communication.On this basis,this study puts forward the concept of lion dance experience class in order to disseminate and promote the lion dance movement and culture effectively through the teaching of lion dance experience class.The third chapter mainly discusses the teaching theory exploration of the lion dance experience class.This chapter gives a brief introduction to the factors existing in the teaching process,and analyzes and discusses them from different aspects,such as the teaching objectives,teaching principles,teaching subjects,teaching environment,teaching forms,teaching content,teaching concepts,etc.The course setting study was conducted on the lion dance experience class of the Confucius Institute from above aspects.In the fourth chapter,basing on the overall lion dance experience class,a specific teaching case was designed through the third-year participants of the Confucius Classroom of the Confucius Institute at the Empress Dowager University in Thailand,and the teaching reflection was considered.The fifth chapter is a summary.The writer summarizes the research situation of this article and looks to the future,and also puts forward relevant suggestions for future research.
