A Study On The Influence Of Cultural Activities Of Confucius Institute In Betong,Thailand On Language Teaching

As an important platform for teaching Chinese and spreading Chinese culture,Confucius Institute will organize various cultural activities in addition to daily Chinese teaching tasks.However,the role of cultural activities should not be limited to cultural communication,and the combination of cultural activities and language teaching can fully reflect the value and significance of cultural activities.Based on the teaching experience of Confucius Institute in Betong,Thailand,the author studies the language strategy of cultural experience activities of Confucius Institute in Betong from the perspective of promoting the integration of language teaching and cultural activities.The research mainly combines the results of tests,interviews and questionnaires to analyze the language teaching in cultural activities,including the impact of cultural activities on language knowledge such as vocabulary,grammar,Chinese characters,and language skills in listening,speaking,reading,and writing.On this basis,it summarizes the problems existing in the cultural activities of the Confucius Institute in Betong City from the three levels of faculty,management factors and student qualities,and combines the author's practice and peer experience to focus on how to better conduct cultural activities.Suggestions for improvement in language teaching,for example,teachers should arrange time in the activities reasonably,conduct language interactions in a targeted manner,arrange related tasks after the activities,etc.For Confucius Institute managers,they need to establish effective evaluation feedback Mechanisms,increase publicity,strengthen innovation and guidance,and strengthen the construction of teachers.It is hoped that it can provide new reference and ideas for Chinese teachers to carry out cultural activities and help the sustainable and healthy development of Confucius Institute.
