Yao,one of the ancient minorities in south China, has a long history with brilliant and unique culture and art. In its twisting and rough national migration history, it has been mixing with the local folk culture and art constantly, thus forming the unique and inclusive folk culture and art. Yao nationality clothing is the most concentrated and the most fully reflected in the Yao culture and art. Yao’s colorful clothes are the embodiment of national history, culture, religion, as well as the Yao people’s pursuit of beauty. The Yao nationality clothing embroidery, is the most representative research of Yao culture art.However, the study of Yao nationality clothing focus mostly on the development of its history, culture connotation explanation, the inheritance of embroidery art, and highly protective layer.But there is a lack in the interpretation of the embroidery art language itself and the related research and try of professional practical application.This paper,which chooses the Liannan Yao autonomous county of Guangdong province as a field site, gives a more comprehensive and in-depth investigation and analysis on the language law of Yao Xiu through the research method of forming of the theory of art and taking the Liannan Yao clothing as an example. For Liannan Yao nationality clothing embroidery art language, it offers a detailed, comprehensive and profound analysis from two aspects of the principles of modeling and color, and it also analyses the causes of the formation of Yao embroidery art language from the aspects such as culture and tradition, geographical and natural characteristics.
