Study On The Language Of Chinese Contemporary Watercolor Image

After being introduced into China, watercolor has got great influence from Chinese traditional culture and the traditional ink painting for a very long time. The unity of nature and the Chinese traditional aesthetic ideas eventually led to the breeding and development of image watercolor. With its rich and unique artistic language, Chinese contemporary watercolor images interpret the spirit of contemporary society peoples’ survival state and emotional expression, highlight the unique aesthetic value, and enjoy the refreshing art visual effect in today’s diversified development of watercolor art. Chinese contemporary watercolor images, however, has not yet formed the real climate, and it has yet to form an independently leading trend of art form, its artistic features and performance skills also failed to get extensive attention and research of the system. Therefore,the main topic of this thesis is to review and summarize from the theoretical system and research the development direction of Chinese contemporary watercolor images and innovation, which is also the innovation of this paper. This paper is divided into seven chapters, and the first chapter is the introduction part, mainly analyzes the research status at home and abroad. The second chapter analyzes the formation ofcontemporary watercolor images around the development of Chinese contemporary watercolor. The following three chapters focus on the analysis of the paper mainly from the image schema language of watercolor, modeling language, the language use of water and color,media language, special techniques, the sixth chapter expounds the emotional and aesthetic features of watercolor language images of Chinese contemporary. As the epilogue part, the seventh chapter briefly summarizes this paper by emphasizing the innovation of this paper and putting forward the important value of the theoretical research of China’s contemporary images watercolor language, in addition, the author looks forward to the prospects on the development of Chinese contemporary watercolor images. In the process of the research, the analysis of some typical painters’ art ideas and their works is also carried on to grasp accurately the contemporary Chinese cultural and artistic connotation of watercolor language, and to be the research results to give theoretical guidance to the image watercolor painting creators.
