This report is the summary of the translation of chapter six and chapter seven, which mainly describe social media and podcast respectively, of Using Social Media in the Classroom.This report mainly consists of four parts. The first part is a brief description of the translation task, which includes the introduction of material source, the author of the book and the book itself. Next part is translation process, consisting of the preparation for translation, difficulties in the process of translation, text checking, polishing and finalization. The most important part is the analysis of the translation cases in the aspects of lexical terms, syntax and discourse. The last part is the summary of translation experience.The book Using Social Media in the Classroom objectively describes the relevant knowledge of social media with concise and plain language. In accordance with the original language style, the translator mainly adopts literal translation to deal with the translation problems in lexical terms and syntax, with free translation as a supplementary translation method.In a word, the translation report is the summary of translation experience and helps the translator have a better understanding of translation.
