Northern Song Dynasty society is a period with great changes in politics, economy and culture and the characteristics associated with those changes were unique and hardly observed in other eras of Chinese history. In this specific era. the "publicity" of the royal gardens reaches its peak in the history of China. Through the introduction of "publicity" development process in Chinese classical gardening, this paper specifically discusses the inheritance, maturity and influence of "publicity" in the royal gardens of Northern Song Dynasty. This paper takes Jinmingchi for example, by examining its vicissitude, garden layout, Kaichi activity and the constitution of visitor, tries to explore the internal driving forces and social benefits of garden "publicity" in social phenomenon perspective. This study comes to the conclusion that emperors gradually increase the "publicity" in Jinmingchi to placate the Rich Class that rises in the Northern Song Dynasty. As a result, lifestyle in Dongjing city is changed, social stability of Northern Song Dynasty is guaranteed, a certain kind of capital culture comes into being.
