Modern Chinese Directional Verb is a kind of special verb. It is used when the action has tendency or the action can lead the direction change. The number of Directional Verb is about 20 words. Although in Thai language also have directional verb and some have the same meaning with Chinese language. But the frequency of use is really very often. Because it not only can use as predicate verb, but also can use as complement follow verbs or adjective. It has the basic meaning and many complicated extended meanings. So that although Thai language has directional verb as well, when use Chinese directional verb can misunderstanding. Especially the primary Thai student. For Thai students of Chinese directional verbs, contrast and errors analysis research is very few, most are for the tendency of Chinese verb as a complement of bias of the study, the research is not enough comprehensive and not in system. Based on the directional verb subject research, through corpus and questionnaire for junior stage Thai students as the research object, according to the errors made by learners tend to have Chinese verb is analyzed, and puts forward personal Suggestions and conclusions.This paper mainly divided into five parts. The first chapter selected topic reason, mainly introduces the reason of my choice, literature review, the research object, research methods and significance. The second chapter is Chinese verb classification, and to analyze the tendency verbs corresponding form with Thai, and find out the basic semantic similarities and differences. The third chapter is based on the primary stage Thai students as the object, design the questionnaire investigation. The fourth chapter is based on the results of the questionnaire is analyzed, and find out the types of errors and the causes of errors analysis and conclusions are put forward. The fifth chapter is about the trend verbs in teaching Chinese as a foreign language. The main content is according to the analysis of the above research and puts forward personal advice: teaching material, teaching.
