Pingding hand-cut porcelain was the fourth batch of national intangible cultural heritage protection list in December 2014. Zhang tao yi workshop, as its heritage unit,from its origin to establish, develop and seek a way out, has a very difficult history. By anthropology fieldwork,we can see hand-cut porcelain in the workshop of specific places, from material, glaze, to the test in the process of making, molding, glazing,painting flowers, hand-cut, firing, grinding bottom, the eight steps such as using more than 50 cumbersome procedures, craftsmen skills to those "unstable" factors into pacify hand-cut porcelain in the stability of the structure of objects, the pieces of fine carved porcelain from invisible to visible, in front of the world.Using the field research method in anthropology: The first thing is the inspection of the developing course;The second thing is the inspection of its process; The third thing is the inspection of its handicraft 、raw materials, production equipment and tools, production processes and process, etc.; the forth thing is the inspection of the "people",like factory owners, employees(craft) and traders; The fifth thing is the inspection of importance of the crafts’ connotation and workshop. and put forward the measuresPingding hand-cut porcelain likes seemingly stable structure, will be "skills-china- workshop- market", connected together, "people" is the core of these connections. Traditional crafts not only shows the art itself n value, more shows the subject. Social development is the norm, as the subject of the cultural heritage ——the zhang tao yi workshop, it needs dig to base on the foundation of the cultural connotation. the government supporting and self-development is the sustainable survivaland development.
