The thesis takes the movies of Feng Xiaogang and the literary works of Liu Zhenyun as major research objectives, discusses the relationship between the style transformation of Feng Xiaogang’s movies and the creation of Liu Zhenyun’s works, tries to discover the relationship between movie and literature through their cooperation, so as to provide more thinking and reference for better movie creation.The thesis can be divided into three parts:introduction, main body and conclusion. The main body can be divided into three chapters.Chapter One first discusses the literary creation course of Liu Zhenyun, emphasizing his creative characteristics as "new realism" and "new historism"; then, discusses the style transformation process of Feng Xiaogang’s movies and the causes; and then discusses the soul role of literature in movies through the cooperation between Feng Xiaogang and Liu Zhenyun.Chapter Two first takes the film Mobile Phone as research objective and discusses the "new realism" style of the scriptwriter Liu Zhenyun; then, analyses the positive interaction between literature and movies under the dominance of strong media such as movie and television; and then analyses the serious thinking and humanistic ideas of Mobile Phone through the entertaining appearance.Chapter Three first takes Liu Zhenyun’s work Review the 1942 as research objective and analyses the "new historism" creative concept and investigative form used by Liu Zhenyun in the work; then takes Feng Xiaogang’s movie 1942 adapted from Liu Zhenyun’s work Review the 1942 as research objective and analyses the reconstruction of the story through screen image to express deep reflection on national history and reach a new height in ideological level and artistic level.In the conclusion, a series of problems that Chinese films confronted with in the pan-entertainment era are pointed out, the significance of the cooperation between Feng Xiaogang and Liu Zhenyun is further discussed, and an idea is proposed that artistic quality of movies can be truly improved only by intensifying the literary soul of movies, so as to guarantee sustainable development of movie industry.
