The Study Of Different Vocabulary Between Mainland And Taiwan

The paper in the latest issue of cross-strait common dictionary (2012) as the main corpus, the collection of cross-strait differences in vocabulary has made the statistics and classified, show differences in characteristics and forming reason was analyzed and summarized. On both sides of their respective mainstream newspapers and authoritative dictionaries as corpus, the research of the cross-strait situation and cause of lexical access and integration. The research of the paper on both sides of the vocabulary and language specification and the dictionary compilation work of the two sides have the important reference.The thesis is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction, this paper discusses the research object and research significance, summarizes domestic and foreign scholars research achievements, is introduced in this paper, research objectives and methods.The second part, with the dictionary as the corpus, differences in vocabulary can be divided into four categories, enumerate, statistical commentaries on the style and quantity of them in the dictionary.The third part, discuss in detail the above four types of the form and meaning of words.The fourth part, from five aspects analysis the deep reasons of the formation of cross-strait differences in vocabulary.The fifth part, the differences in the cross-strait common dictionary words, respectively, with China, the People’s Daily, "modern Chinese dictionary" and Taiwan’s apple daily,. reweave mandarin dictionary revision comparison, investigate the phenomenon of lexical access and integration across the strait, summary words fusion.
