The System Research Of The Changes Of Strokes In Yinqueshan Han Bamboo Slips

With the establishment of Chinese character stylistics and the development of the research of Chinese characters’ structure,the theory of Chinese characters’ written form becomes increasingly rich,as the study of Chinese characters form itself becoming much more deeper,the constantly finding of new materials,provide a lot of evidences for the study of specific times or specific materials of Chinese characters. Yinqueshan Han Bamboo Slips was discovered in 1972 in Shandong Linyi,which caused widespread concern in the academic community. In this thesis,we will study the changes of strokes in Yinqueshan Han Bamboo Slips,basing mainly on Chinese characters’ structure theory. We hope to discuss the changes of strokes in li calligraphy with the aid of the handwritten materials which can reflect the daily writing state.The main contents of this thesis are as follows: In chapter one,we will introduce the significance and theoretical basis as well as the materials and methods of this thesis,at the same time,we will introduce the research status of the study of the characters in Yinqueshan Han Bamboos,the Chinese character stylistics,the Chinese character configuration theories and the li calligraphy.In chapter two,we will conclude the different writings of the characters as the basic materials of the changes of strokes,then we will make a detailed description of the strokes in Yinqueshan Han Bamboos,and we will analyze the characteristics of the various strokes.In chapter three,we will contrast the characters in Yinqueshan Han Bamboos with the preceding dynasties,then explore the specific performance of the changes of strokes,we will find the trend of the changes are changing the curved into straight,the reduction of the number of the strokes,changing the disconnect into connection,the shortening of the strokes through the specific comparison with the former strokes.In chapter four,we will conclude the regularity of the variation,they are more straight and square,more economical,a large number of retentions of the strokes in the seal character and the embryonic development of the li calligraphy,the diversity of different patterns of strokes,and explain reasons of the changes,which are resulted from a series of joint actions: improving writing efficiency,the pursuit of speed and beautiful,the physiological requirements and consciousness in writing,the writer’s identity,the writing materials and tools,the social environment and so on.In chapter five,we will explore the relationship between the change of strokes and the change of structure of li calligraphy,we can find that the change of strokes can cause the variation,reduction,combination and division in the structure,and the weakening of motivation in structure promotes the straight and economy in the strokes,the two aspects interact with each other,promoting the symbolic of the Chinese characters.In chapter six,we will try to analysis the style of the characters in Yinqueshan Han Bamboos by strokes,we can find the change of strokes play a big role during the analysis of the changes of the style from the observation of the appearance of the strokes,the changes of the front and the changes of the whole discourse.
