The System Research Of The Changes Of Strokes In Suizhou Kongjiapo Bamboo Slips

The excavavations of a large number of Bamboo Slips not only showed the ancients' daily writing status at specific times through fragmented recordation to us,but also provided the important clue to the study of Chinese characters' structure.With the development and abundance of the theory about Chinese characters' form,the study of Chinese characters form itself acquired theorerical support.It is sure that the research in Chinese characters' written form is more and more systematicness.Kongjiapo Han Bamboo Slips was discovered in 2000 in Hubei Suizhou,that attracted a lot of professors and scholars to research from a variety of aspects.In this thesis,we will combine synchronic description with diachronic comparison to study the changes of strokes in Kongjiapo Han Bamboo Slips,basing on Chinese characters' structure theory.The main contents of this thesis are as follows:In chaper one,we will give a summary of the significance and the methods,as well as the materials and the theoretical.Meanwhile,we will introduce the research status of the Kongjiapo Han Bamboos Slips,li calligraphy and the strokes.In chaper two,we will tidy up the different writings of the characters by observing the changes of strokes,after that,we will give a full description of the strokes in Kongjiapo Han Bamboos that was classified into eleven categories.In chaper three,we wil conclude the changes of strokes in Kongjiapo Han Bamboos by comparison with the preceding dynasties,and quest for the trends in changing from connect and disconnect,curve and straight,increase and decrease,lengthening and shortening,translocation and so on.In chaper four,we will summarize the regularity of the change,they are more straight,more square and more economical although there is a apparent contradiction about a mass of preservation of the strokes in the seal character and the gestation of the li calligraphy.Afterwards,we will attempt to answer this questions in two aspects: subjective and objective.The changes are impacted on many factors,such as the writer's identity,the physiological requirements and consciousness in writing,the needs of speed and beauity,writing materialsand instrument,the social environment.In chapter five,we will explain the distinction and connection between the change of the strokes and the change of structure.The change of strokes can bring about the variation,reduction,translocation,combination and division in the structure,in turn,the change of structure can also affect the writing of strokes.
