Research On The Building Of Ecological Ethics During The Process Of China’s Urbanization

Chinese cities had been developing very fast since the reforming and opening. The number of cities has reached to 658 with a 53.7% rate, and urban resident population has reached 730 million by the end of 2013. However, all kinds of “city sickness” started along, leading by ecocrisis. Beijing has become another city of fog in the new century after London. The research took the subject of ethics building of urban ecology, and conducted study under the theory of Scientific Outlook on Development and Garden City using literature methods and survey methods.The paper thinks that there are various courses for urban ecorisis such as the government policies, which covers the biggest part of it, the enterprises and even individual activities. Therefore, the government is primarily liable for the building of urban ecology as well as the key of solving the ecological problems. However, the government plays also the role of “economic man”, therefore, from the view of ecological horizon, the author raised the principles of building urban ecological ethics, namely responsibility principle, maximized happiness principle, harmony between human being and the nature principle, harmonious developing principle, sustainable development principle, environmental justice principle and equitable principle so as to play a driving role in the building of urban ecological civilization.
