Modern Chinese characters are the written language of contemporary Chinese language and an important part of teaching and research of Chinese teaching for foreigners. In order to improve the teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language, especially the primary teaching period, it is need to explore the morphological basis of Chinese character, and to design teaching methods as well as teaching strategies by combining the characteristics of Chinese characters, and further to increase the efficiency of the teaching of Chinese characters. According to the composition reasoning and structure system of Chinese characters,the radicals of Chinese characters are the elements of composing the modern compound characters and the key to explain the shape, sound and meaning of the Chinese character formed. Depending on the two significant attributes of components, it is essential to define the standard for analysis of radicals of Chinese characters. On the bases of this, it is required to formulate the teaching program of Chinese characters used in primary level by analyzing the radicals collected in the Character Outline grade one and making summary of the system of components. Under the premise of analysis of radicals, it is operable to implement the Chinese characters at the primary level by confirmation of the teaching principle and design of teaching methods.
