From Liu Dakui’s “Syllable-words” To See Zhu Guangqian’s Rhythm Theory

Zhu Guangqian is an excellent academic master in the history of Chinese poetics research,his “poetics” provides a scientific and normative research systems for Chinese poetic theory construction.From origin,essence,melody and other aspects of poetry,he do a lot system,scientific talks.He is a great man in the end of nineteenth century in poem research field and his “poetics” is regard as a classic book by successors.Throughout the past study of “poetics”,there is still a weak side on rhythm research.However,“Rhythm” do play an extremely important part in the book “poetics” and this is the reason why I focus on “Rhythm” in this paper.There is a close connection between Zhu Guangqian’s theory and Liu Dakui’s “syllable-words”,but we don’t pay more attation on their relationship,the paper also not much on this aspect.Although there is research material on the two people respectively,there is no precedent who put them together.So,in this paper,from Liu Dakui’s “syllable-words”,I try to give a detailed discussion on Zhu Guangqian’s poetics theory,so we can have a deep understanding on Zhu’s rhythm,and at the same time to have a new interpretation of Liu’s “syllable-words” from the perspective comparison.Preface part,brief introduction of research topic and significance.research status,research methods and the innovation of this paper.The first chapter starts from the previous study of Liu Dakui,focus on what other people say about “syllable-words”.First of all,brief combing involved in ancient Chinese literary works of the development of the “rhythm”,and do a generalization of longitudinal on the development of the concept of “rhythm”.Second,briefly discussed how Liu Dakui’s “syllable-words” inheritance Fang Bao’s theory and how he impact Yao Nai,and help him put forward his own theory.Once again,talk about the importance of Liu Dakui’s “syllable-words”.At last,to give a detailed analysis to “because of the sound for spirit”.The second chapter mainly elaborates the rhythm theory in Zhu’s poetics.First,a brief introduction to how Zhu Guangqian accepted of tongcheng “rhythm education”.Second,from the core theory of rhythm,the origin,the several angles,such as sound,rhyme and rhythm analysis.Again,to analysis the tradition of Chinese and western poetry,and to highlight the innovation of the writing from the comparative between Chinese and Western,and Ancient and Modern.The third chapter mainly analyzes the influencing factors of “poetics” theory.First,Buddhism and Buddhist input impact on Poetry.Second,the origin of poetry impact on Poetry.and last,Fu pansum impact on poetry.The fourth chapter discuss the inheritance and development of Zhu Guangqian viewpoint of Liu Dakui’s rhythm.First,the concept of Zhu Guangqian to Liu Dakui rhythm inheritance.second,the development of the thoughts of zhu guangqian to liu dakui melody.Epilogue,to summarize this paper and point out the flaws of the thesis writing,and the direction of future efforts.
