Li-Guangdi(1642-1718), also called jinqing or houan, posthumously honored with the title ―Wenzhen‖, from Anxi, Fujian province. He is renowned as Confucian scholar and accomplished politician in the early Qing Dynasty. During the reign of Emperor Kang Xi and Qian Long of the Qing Dynasty, Li-descendants of three generations are deep in Neo–Confucianism(a Confucian school of idealist philosophy of the Song and Ming Dynasties) and Ritual by the thought of Li-Guangdi. Li-Guangdi has much learning, whose works in abundant and study style in practical, which shaped the style of study and the atmosphere of literary in the Fujian area.Li-Guangdi is the only Daxueshi(Grand secretary of the Grand Secretariat in feudal China) of Fujian in the Qing dynasty. His family grew up in the Ming dynasty, and Li-Guangdi’s political influence in the turbulent situation in the early Qing dynasty was huge, such as Cai Shiyuan family from Zhang Pu. In literature, Li-family centered on Li-Guangdi contact close with Tongcheng Fang Bao, especially the Tongcheng School formed the beginning of the Qing dynasty. It is great significance to explore Li-family and Fang Bao’s relationship. Li-Guangdi, like a most dazzling star in the sky of the early Qing Dynasty, is famous at Neo sector as a unique existence. People of that time hold him in esteem. He leaving most of the works are on Neo–Confucianism and there are still some valuable literatures. This article discusses the Li family literature and its structure as follows.The first chapter gives a general overview of Li-Guangdi and the other members in his family. The overview is divided into two sections, focused on Li-Guangdi’s life experiences and the relationship with his family members. It can be seen that reflecting the character of Li and affect his family.The second chapter is making a textual research on works by Li and the other members. The research is divided into two sections, to study the writings from Li’s and his family members’, trying to sort out the data and showing the literary boom of Li family.The third chapter is divided into three sections which are mainly made of literary theory and literary criticism research based on Li-Guangdi’s works, which are Rongcun Yulu, Rongcun xuyulu, Rongcun ji and Rongcun xuji. Meanwhile,Li-Guangdi was a life benefactor for some acquaintances, such as Fang-Bao, Gu-Yanwu, Mei-Wending, Cai-Shiyuan. This chapter summarizes Li’s feature in literary creation and his literature thought, which further evaluated objectively of Li who have great significance in the history of literature, as a literary scholar.The fourth chapter is divided into four sections which is study on literature from three of Li’s family, which is Li-Guangpo’s Gaoxuan Wenbian, Li-Qingzhi’s Zhishou Xunyu, Li-Qingfu’s Minzhong Lixue Yuanyuankao. And then study about Li family contact with Tongcheng School. Through the study of their anthology, this chapter shows the impact of Li-Guangdi’s Confucianism thought and the heritage of family academic tradition, and then evaluates objectively the status of Li family in the literary world in the Qing Dynasty.The fifth chapter is the conclusion, summing up the contents of this article, which involves in researching the relevant members of the Li family’s life and works, to show the literary boom of the family; through the study of their writings, summarizes the general characteristics of Literature from Li family: advocate simple and concise writing, attention to the accumulation, rationality rooted in Confucian classics and history. Li family on Li-uangdi helps line of thought and consciousness of the family inheritance. Their literary theory and science achievements Fujian regional influence and even change the style and atmosphere of Fujian even wider region would have a negligible impact, such as Li-Guangdi gave Tongcheng Fang Bao’s protégé and influence, which later Tongcheng development has great significance.
