Research On The Ancient Document Of Appointment By Yuan Zhen

Yuan Zhen was a famous Chinese writer in the Tang dynasty.His poems and articles are both good.He could write all kinds of essaies and of course he got a huge achievement in art and literature.What’s more,Yuan Zhen was not only a writer,but also a great theorist.He made a great contribution to the process of the literature form revolution of the ancient document of appointment(制诰)in the Tang dynasty.It’s the key link of the whole process and we should pay attetion to that.This article is a study of Yuan Zhen’s ancient document of appointment and it is divided into four parts:The first part is the introduction of the ancient document of appointment, including both explaination of the name and the evolution of the literature style; the second part is the summarization of his literal theories,especially his critical opinions about the structure and content of the traditional ancient document of appointment; the third part is the analysis of the classification, structure, system,artistic features,and the analysis of his Parallel Prose is the most important part and from that we can get a whole cognition; the last but not the least,we put Yuan Zhen’s creation of the ancient document of appointment in the historical development process of the Tang dynasty to find out the meaning of his work.
