With the advancement of economic development and age, more and more people choose to learn the piano in his spare time by various social and educational institutions. Social education as after school education and family education, it also has quite a broad impact. Studying piano at these social institutions are more and more people choose. And in piano teaching, teacher training institutions, most of the traditional teaching model chosen west, using Western piano teaching repertoire. However, due to the different geographical and cultural environment, some students understanding of the work of some deviation. China as a big country with rich resources, history and culture, after the piano into our country, there are a lot of piano works with Chinese characteristics come, most of them are based on the adaptation of traditional folk songs, with strong Chinese characteristics. This class piano is people are familiar with its melody and more easily accepted by everyone.For the Inner Mongolia region, as the ethnic minority areas, with its unique folk music and culture. Inner Mongolia piano work is also an important part of Chinese piano music. In Inner Mongolia the social education, should take advantage of this nation, to increase the proportion of Chinese Piano Music application in teaching, both play the piano learners to promote this folk music heritage the role of traditional Chinese culture, but also to enrich the teaching content, stimulate learners’ interest in learning the piano. However, in practical application of teaching social education, the importance of teaching piano most do not fully understand the Chinese piano works, its application is not enough. The vast majority of Western piano teacher is not able to work effectively with a combination of Chinese piano music works in teaching, not to mention the piano works of Inner Mongolia. In this paper, ChiFeng, Hong Shan as a fulcrum to conduct research to identify the area of social education in piano, application status and problems of Chinese piano works to study and propose relevant personal opinion, to solve the problems.
