As an important part of folk literature, Kazak folk tales and Khalkhas folk tales have the unique national characteristic and artistic charm. Through the analysis of their folk tales, we can have a leopard look of two ethnic groups’ ideal state and life feelings when entered the different historical periods. Its rich historical value and aesthetic value help us to study the early civilization of social culture form.There are a lot of scholars past achievements in the study of Kazak folk tales, butlittle emphasis and mining on Khalkhas tales. This paper base on the previous studies, using the Marxistdialecticalmaterialismandhistoricalmaterialismbasicmetho-dology, from the reality of folk tales, critically using the text analysis, literature research method to the two types of folk tales to read, analyze, to be able to have more fully perspective of folk story, analyze its profound value. To promote more scholars research on Khalkhas folk tales, folk literature and discuss esethnic brothers exchanges brought about by the multilateral value.The body part of this paper altogether is composed of five chapters: The Introduction part is a definition and classification of the type about folk tales, at the same time, quo the causes and research status of this thesis; The first chapter is an overview of the Kazak folk tales an Khalkhas folk tales; The second chapter is the cultural connotation’s similarities and differences of Kazak and Khalkhas folk tales; The third chapter is the analyze of the similarities and differences between Kazak folk tales and Khalkhas folk tales; The last part is the conclusion to the summarizes research significance of this paper,and the paper’s shortcomings.
