"Ym’ er" is an important causal connective of the modern Chinese conjunctions, the research on "Yin’er" will help to grasp the characteristics of the causal connectives from the microscopic point of view. This dissertation studies the specific features of "Ym’er" on lexicalization, syntactic, semantic and pragmatic, then compares it with the other similar conjunctions "Yinci, Cong’er", finally, analyzes the reasons and put forward the teaching suggestions based on the biased errors when the foreign students use "Yin’ er, Yinci, Cong’er". This paper includes these parts:Part one is the chapter one introduction. In this part, we will determine the study subject of this paper is the common causal conjunction "Yin’er", in the research content, we will study the process of becoming a word, the features on syntactic, semantic and pragmatic, the differences from the other conjunctions and the biased errors, then point out the significance of this research and the commentates of domestic and foreign. Lastly we illustrate study methods used in the paper and where the databases come from.Part two is from chapter two to chapter four, it is the core content of this paper. Chapter two will study the lexicalization process of "Yin’er" by researching the semantic grammar evolution of "Yin" and "Er" under diachronic and synchronize methods. Chapter three is the research of "Yin’er" on three-plane. It will describe and analyze the specific features of "Ym’er" on syntactic, semantic and pragmatic. In semantic terms, "Yin’er" tends to present inference, and more subjective. In syntactic terms, "Yin’er" can connect varied linguistic units, such as words, phrases, sentences. The narrative subject of "Yin’er" can be the same or not. The following sentence structures are unrestricted. It can be subject predicate structure, the verb object structure, etc. In pragmatics terms, the cohesive functions in passage includes cause and effect function, inference function, condition function, objective function and progressive function. The subjective of "Yin’er" reflects in the perspective, emotion and cognition of the speakers. Chapter four compares "Yin’ er" with the casual connectives "Yinci, Cong’er" which have great similarities to "Yin’er" in usage, find out the nuances of semantics, syntax and pragmatics by analyzing the databases, put forward the teaching suggestions based on the four types of biased errors:garble between similar conjunctions, using conjunction with mismatches, addition and omission.Part three is the conclusion of this dissertation.
