A Study On The Adverbs In Zhengzhou Dialect

The research object of this paper is the adverb system of zhengzhou dialect. Through field investigation and literature, on the basis of mastering a large number of real corpora, adopting the method of synchronic description and comparing with mandarin, the paper systematically analysis and discuss several kinds of important adverbs of zhengzhou dialect. This paper is divided into four parts:The introduction part mainly introduces the general situation of the geography, humanities and dialect of zhengzhou, phonetic system of Zhengzhou dialect, overview of the relevant research results on Zhengzhou dialect, and explains the significance of the topic and research methods, as well as the source of the corpus and style of this article.The first part investigates the characteristic adverbs of zhengzhou dialect. "Characteristic adverbs" is adverb in comparison with the mandarin, which used in zhengzhou dialect and mandarin not or both, but there are differences in meaning and usage.This is the core part of the paper, a systematic analysis of the Zhengzhou adverb system:the degree adverbs, scope adverbs, situation adverbs, modal adverbs, time and frequency adverbs, positive and negative adverbs, selected several distinctive, the use of higher frequency adverbs from each category adverbs. Did an objective description and analysis for these special adverbs from the perspective of syntax, semantics and pragmatics. The second part that the explanations of other adverbs is a supplement to the first part that can help us to understand the whole picture of Zhengzhou adverb system.The third part investigates the adverb phenomenon of co-occurrence of zhengzhou dialect, mainly including co-occurrence of degree adverbs with negation adverbs, co-occurrence of scope adverbs, co-occurrence of other adverbs. The aim is to explore in depth grammatical features and highlight the semantic richness and vividness of Zhengzhou adverb.The last part is the conclusion.This part summarized the main characteristics of Zhengzhou dialect adverbs and pointed out the shortcomings of this paper.
