In this study, a total of 500 people conducted by questionnaire, to recover the 450 samples, the effective sample is 380. The object of this study test the prisoners from Shanghai three prison, the detention center from criminal crime types including male, violent crime, social nuisance crimes, economic crimes, and a part of the staff with gambling, drug-related, jurisprudence and other types of. This research mainly adopts the questionnaire method, the research tools include:(1) self esteem scale (SES). (2) evaluation of parenting style scale (EMBU). (3) the coping style scale. And use SPSS software for t test, correlation analysis.The results are as follows:(1) five years male prisoners Father emotional warmth and male inmates self-esteem level and has a significant positive correlation, problem solving, help father preferred to turn to also have a significant positive correlation; And his mother refused to deny that there is significant negative correlation with self-esteem level and severely punished, mother refuse, denial and blame have positive correlation, mother punished has positive correlation with retreat.(2) (2) five years in male prisoners father emotional warmth, help to solve the problem has positive prediction effect, father’s preference has a positive predictive effect on help seeking; mother refused to deny have a positive predictive effect on the self blame, mother who have a positive predictive effect on self-esteem to retreat; emotional warmth, help to predict a positive role, self-esteem negative predictor of self blame, retreat.(3) for the five years following the male prisoners, self-esteem in father’s emotional warmth and solve problems, father’s emotional warmth and preference for help, and help between between father, mother refused to deny and self blame, punish and retreat between both the part of the intermediary role.
