| There is a potential link between the paradigm of subliminal affective priming, embodied cognition and implicit learning. The subliminal emotional pictures are presented quickly and subjects were not aware of the presented pictures, which is implicit. And proprioceptive information induced by subliminal affective priming leds to make consistent valence judgment tendency with corresponding priming stimulus when see subsequent target stimuli, that is the meaning of embodied cognition. Based on the connection of the three aspects, this study will combine subliminal affective priming with implicit learning and create new implicit connected learning with subliminal affective priming. Throughout fixing the match of subliminal emotional pictures and neutral targets and many trainings, forming stable valence judgment tendency to the neutral targets. The subjects the valence judgment may unconsciously biased originally subliminal priming stimulus even if only see the neutral target stimulation, that is implicit connected learning. In addition, during the training phase or the retrieval phase subjects biting the pen with teeth to activate the internal positive emotion, we try to study the embodied influence on implicit association learning. We also compare different effects on training stage and the retrieval stage.The first study revealed the effect of implicit connected learning and the effect of different embodied operation stages on implicit connected learning from the behavior level. The second study used ERP technology to discuss the effect of implicit connected learning and the effect of different embodied operation stages on implicit connected learning from the brain mechanisms level.The results of research are as following:1)Under this experimental condition, the implicit connected learning can be produced. And the effect of subliminal negative emotions in implicit connected learning was better, that is subliminal affective priming on subliminal negative faces. While no obvious subliminal affective priming in implicit connected learning with subliminal positive emotions and neutral emotions. There is obvious negative bias in implicit connected learning of subliminal happy faces.2)The embodied operation in different stages affected the implicit connected learning. In overall behavior results, in retrieval-embodied group the valence judgment of target stimuli matching with subliminal negative faces is more negative, that is, implicit connected learning with subliminal negative faces is better. In retrieval-embodied group the difference between happy faces and sad faces extracting scores were increased. Compare male emotional pictures with female emotional pictures:In retrieval stage of training-embodied group the valence judgments of target stimuli matched with subliminal sad faces were more negative. For male image, the difference of valence judgments of target stimuli between sad matching and neutral matching was increased. For female images, implicit connected learning effect with all the three kinds of subliminal emotional were influenced, and their differences were reduced.3)Embodied effects of different stages on implicit connected learning is associated with personality traits. Implicit connected learning of training-embodied group has significantly negative correlation with emotional experience and clear organization, implicit connected learning of retrieval-embodied group has significantly positive correlation with emotional experience, flexible openness concept, significantly positively relation with altruism, competence, responsibility, and significantly negative correlation with self-discipline, impulsiveness and modesty.4)On the ERP results, we found that the different subliminal emotion of the implicit connected learning in the training phase and retrieval phase activates different potentials. The no-embodied group in the training phase, subliminal sad faces cause N200 more larger amplitude, in the retrieval phase, subliminal happy faces and subliminal neutral faces cause N100 more larger amplitude. These results reflected the differences between the training phase and retrieval phase about implicit connected learning. Subliminal emotion because of their unconscious priming and visual stimulation, was more related to the early visual components.5)About the different embodied effect in different stages, compared with the no-embodied group in training stage, we found that in the training-embodied group three kinds of subliminal emotional faces causing N100 amplitude decreases significantly, especially subliminal happy faces causing N100 and P300 amplitude were significantly decreased. The retrieval-embodied group mainly manifested on the decrease of the P300 amplitude caused by three kinds of subliminal emotional faces in comparation to no-embodied group in retrieval phase, showing that the embodied operation in training stage or retrieval phase had inhibitory effect on the amplitude caused by all the three kinds of subliminal emotional faces. Compared with no-embodied group, training-embodied group mainly increased N100 amplitude of the subliminal negative emotions. The effect of embodied operation in training phase can continue until the retrieval stage, reflecting the continuous influence of embodied operation. And differences of embodied operation in different stages were mainly on the P300 amplitude of retrieval phase. The raining-embodied group mainly increase the P300 amplitude in retrieval stage. |
