| The scope of this thesis is about The inheritance and change of ’Qi Xuan’village dumb Festival. From the historical memory and the village’s legends,readers will see how the local people know themselves and who are their allies.It is about blood, ceremony, hero, and something else.The first part is mainly about the similarities and differences between the historical of Qi Xuan Cun dumb festival in history and various versions of the legend. Through analyzing the difference, to discuss how the local people saw the dumb Festival.The second part mainly analyzes the dumb Festival ceremony. For each step,the article has carried on the detailed analysis in chronological order. We also discuss the role of the main clergy in the ceremony at the same time.Finally,analysis how the local people used legends to show the legitimacy of land ownership.The third part is about the dumb Festival inheritance way and development of intangible cultural heritage protection experience.
