Due to the geographically close link of China and Korean Penisula, the two countries have frequently communications, and abundant musical culture was brought to Korean Penisula from China. The musical culture from China was highly regarded by Korean people. Their preservation of musical culture even surpassed Chinese people. While Pipa was spreaded eastward to Korean Penisula, it is gradually localized to "Xiang Pipa" and become one of the representative musical instrument there. At the same time however, Yueqin has maintained the original development of lute-making system of Song Dynasty.Through the literature analysis, communication studies, and draw lessons from music image, musical instruments and sociology research methods, this article discusses the development of Pipa in two countries. The chapter one mainly lists the course of development of Pipa and Yueqin, which including the changes of their titles, shapes and play modes. The chapter two mainly dealt with the spread and evolution of Pipa and Yueqin in Korean Panisula, which covers the instruction of the representative instrument "san zhu san xian ". Also, there is a comparison of different types of Pipa in China and that of Korean Penisula. The two basic types of Pipa in Korean Penisula are Tang Pipa and Xiang Pipa and they are also be compared in shape and application. In chapter three, it elaborates the fusion of musical culture of both Chinese mainland and Korean Penisula, which including the scholars’influence on Pipa’s art culture.
