By using the partition and staging methods, this paper systematically reviewsvarious types of stone-constructed tombs remains in Northern Korean Penisula inBronze Age. Through discussing the shape and evolution law of the stone-constructedtombs, and analyzing the cultural characteristics of the funerary objects, it reveals thatcultural communication and interaction is the root cause in forming cultural situationin Northern Korean Penisula in Bronze Age.The introduction part defines the scope of the paper, and reviews discovery andresearch course of the stone-constructed tombs remains, and puts forward the intendingproblems and research methods.The first chapter classifies and studies its ages of the stone-constructed tombs inthe Chongchon and Taedong River basin. First, it divides the stone-constructed tombsinto two categories, dolmens and sarcophagus tomb. Second, according its shapes, itdivides the dolmens tomb into two types, type A slate upright building structure andtype B block stone masonry structure, and it divides the sarcophagus tomb into fourtypes.:A、Many Slate upright Dolmens, B、The single Slate upright Dolmens, C、Slate and Stone combination Dolmens, D、Stone coffin tomb, and discusses differenttypes’ shape characteristics and distribution scope. Finally, through comparing thepottery unearthed in the dolmens tomb with the remains of the Machengzi culture inthe Northeast, Baibaojin culture and Xituanshan culture, it determines the ages ofdifferent types of the dolmens tombs.The second chapter, according to the stone-constructed tombs’ shapes, dividesinto the dolmens and sarcophagus tomb. According to the wall structure, it divides thedolmens tomb into two types, type A slate upright building structure and type B blockstone masonry structure. Through comparing type A with the dolmens tomb in the northeast China in same shape, it discusses the ages and evolution law. Throughcomparing type B with the same type of the dolmens tomb in the Chongchon andTaedong river basin, it determines the ages. Studying on the sarcophagus tomb, first itclassifies according to differential shapes. Second, through comparing the potteryunearthed in the dolmens tomb with Xingcheng culture in Yanbian area, it determinesthe ages, and analyzes the evolution law of the tomb shapes.The third chapter tells that the sarcophagus tomb is currently the only one instone-constructed tombs remains found in Tulu river basin. Analyzing from the shapesand the pottery form, the sarcophagus tomb have origin contact with Xituanshanculture, the age is roughly equivalent to the middle time of Xituanshan culture.The fourth chapter firstly analyzes the stone-constructed tombs’ shapes, funeraryobjects and cultural factors like burial customs, Investigates the relationship betweendifferent cultures in the Northern Peninsula. Secondly, through comparing withdifferent cultures in the northeast area, it discusses the communications andinteractions between the Northern Korean Penisula in Bronze Age and the NortheastChina.The conclusion part states a few understandings obtained in the study: First, thestone-constructed tombs’ shapes in the Northern Korean Penisula in Bronze Age havestage characteristics. It presented on that there are different tomb shapes in differentareas and in different periods. Second, the stone-constructed tombs’ cultural features indifferent cultural areas are different, but there are certain links. Third, the NorthernKorean Penisula have communications and interactions with the Northeast China.
