Self-injurious behavior is a special kind of psychopathological behavior. In recent years, the study on self-injurious behavior is focused on self-injury factors and functionality. According to the previous literature, self-injurious behavior is influenced by environmental, emotional, biological and many other factors; The probable reason for its recurring is that:When an event evokes individual’s negative emotions, in order to alleviate the unpleasant experience, individual has the self-injurious behavior under a variety of combination of factors.Most self-injury individuals have the problems of emotion regulation, to some extent, self-injurious behavior help to regulate negative emotions, but on the other hand, it is inevitable to cause physical harm from the wounded, and further may affect the social relationship. If we can explore some alternative ways of self-injurious behavior, these ways are simple and easy, and they can significantly adjust the high emotional arousal state of self harm, then we can recommend these ways to individuals and train individuals to use these methods to regulate emotions and avoid physical injury. This provides reference for the future clinical intervention study of self-injurious behavior.In this study, the experimental method is using biofeedback instrument to record the injured physiological indicators at different stages. By examining the changes of physiological indices in different groups and different levels of measurement, self-injury imagination and written expression these two interventions can regulate the emotional arousal in adolescents, then test the intervention effect on self-injurious behavior by imagined self-injury and writing expression. The results showed that:① The result of index 1 (BVP) shows:the methods of written expression and imagined self-injury can regulate the self-injury mood significantly, and the effect are better than the control group of imagination coffee.② The result of index 1 (BVP) shows:the method of imagined self-injury can regulate the self-injury mood significantly, and the effect are better than the methods of written expression and control group of imagination coffee.
