The features of the research in this period can be concluded as comprehensive, professional, and in depth. Comprehensive can be described as during the QianJia period, the research on Tao Yuanming covered the most aspects of that in Song Dynasty and broadened the field of research with new methods of analysis. Professional, the objects of research during QianJia period were relatively more detailed and classified, for example some part of the research focused on one of his literal works or specific types of his achievement. As for in-depth, the researcher and experts within the period of time had made more valuable discoveries based on the previous researches.The thesis discusses the theme in three parts:First of all, the thesis briefly reviews the acceptance of Tao Yuanming and his poetry during the time before QianJia period, concludes all the features of each phase. It took a long time for the content of poetry of Tao from being vague to clarification, from being isolated in the period of Northern-Southern dynasties to the peripheral focus in the Tang Dynasty, prosperity in Song Dynasty, the downturn in Yuan and Ming dynasties, and prosperity again in the Qing dynasty. Yet, in a wider view, the progress has never been stopped, and formed the foundation of the research, conclusion and even a further development of the Tao survey in Qing Dynasty.The second part analyzes the acceptance of the litterateur himself. In QianJia times, the acceptance of Tao Yuanming mainly focused on the discussion of his personal life, the evaluation of his political career and the personality and moral quality in order to reappear the understanding of the litterateur and his spiritual world. The experts in QianJia period showed a more explicit tendency of describing Tao as one of the fames of the Chinese traditional Confucian doctrine. It is debatable whether the tendency is rational, yet, it still consisted one of the features on evaluating Tao.The last part is the explanation of the acceptance of the Tao’s poetry as the literary art. The part of the thesis also concludes the outer features of the acceptance of Tao’s poetry with the combination of the evaluation of QianJia experts and the concept of the poetry at that time. The acceptance of Tao Yuanming and his poetry by the QianJia experts was the continuous research based on the previous analysis and evaluation, however, it was righteous with no preference and it showed the difference from the previous judgment and did not share the same taste..
