Influence Of Musical Emotion On The Driver’s Mood

In recent years, with the popularization of automobile and the improvement of life quality in China, listening to music during driving has become many drivers’habit. The survey shows that listening to music is the most common activity that drivers do during driving. It is thus clear that listening to music has become very common. As music guides drivers’ emotion and emotion is the one of factors that affects the driving behavior, and driving behavior affects transportation safety, on account of that, the studies on the relationship between music and driving behavior emerge increasingly. Previous studies have shown that different types of music will result in different driving behavior. Based on the emotional nature of the music, this paper aims to research the impact of music of different emotional nature on drivers’emotion through ergonomic test, and hope to provide references for the topic "how to use music to transfer drivers’ disadvantageous driving emotion into advantageous driving emotion. the main research contents of the paper include:(1) By means of the available music samples with emotional nature to research the impact of music of different emotional nature on drivers without excited emotional state, and research on the guiding and transferring relationship between music emotion and drivers’emotional state.(2) By means of the available music samples with emotional nature to research the impact of music of different emotional nature on drivers with excited emotional state, and research on the guiding and transferring relationship between music emotion and drivers’emotional state.(3) By means of the above two kinds of researches to briefly discuss how apply the tests results.
