The Calligraphy Research Of Shen Jinshou

Shen Jinshou (1907-1995)born in fuzhou, Fujian province. Chinese famous calligrapher,under the tutelage of Tan Yankai, Shen Yangong, at that time Qi Gong called him "today Yan-style first,". In addition,his Chu-style was influenced by Pan Jingfu who is the classmate of Kang Youwei, Japanese calligrapher Kaneko oetting praised his work with" exquisite".Shen Jinshou is born in famous family,he is the great-grandson of former ship administration secretary Shen Baozhen and,the great-great-grandson of Lin Zexu.Shen’s family have well family academic background,many his family members was study calligraphy which is worth exploring. As a master of Fuzhou gallery of the last century,Shen jinshou indulge in his life with Yan-style and Chu-style calligraphy creation, enlarge a new era of Yan-style and Chu-style. In his career of of calligraphy,his style change from inherit to create,through the interpreted of his calligraphic works,we learned his encounter and his academic thought,he become a calligragher of so called" Long time mastery, but natural".In this paper,the research content mainly include the following three aspects:Firstly,comb Shen Jinshou growth trajectory and his family;Secondly,according to the evolution of the calligraphy style to analyze Shen Jinshou calligraphy;Thirdly,research the Shen Jinshou’s thoughts on calligraphy and education.
