An Interpreting Report On The Collaboration Between The CSRIA And The IISRP

Based on real experience of interpreting for the signing ceremony of thecollaboration between the China Synthetic Rubber Industry Association (CSRIA) andthe International Institute of Synthetic Rubber Producers (IISRP), this report describesthe task and the procedure, analyzes some cases and puts forward some solutions. Thereport analyses the preparation, evaluates the quality, and summarizes the practice in thedescription of the interpreting. Meanwhile, it puts forward the self-monitoringestablishment, role of interpreter positioning, attention distribution of interpreter, etc.By analyzing the interpreting practice, the author reviews the mistakes in the fieldinterpreting and hopes the report will inspire not only himself but also the interpretinglearners for the future interpretation practice.
