On Fengqi’s Theory Of Freedom

Freedom is an enduring philosophical research topic, with its original intention. It originally means a status without hindered. FengQi, the modern well-known philosopher poured a lot of efforts to research freedom. Based on marxist philosophy and Chinese traditional philosophy, FengQi formed his theory of freedom with unique characteristics of the times and distinctive personality. He defined freedom from the perspective of the generalized epistemology in his Wisdom Theory answered the question of how people can be free, and explained his theory of ideal free personality. In this paper, through elaborating and analyzing FengQi’s theory of freedom, we hope we can give some reference to the development of personality and freedom for modern.FengQi believes that freedom means people can get their ideal achieved. First people should set scientific ideal values about truth, goodness and beauty, they will built correct worldly, moral, aesthetic ideal.Then people will use the values to guide practice, and with the principles of " transform theory into method, transform theory into virtue", they will take philosophy theory as method guide the concrete practice, and internalizes for people’s own moral accomplishment, so that people can obtain freedom of cognitive, behavior and aesthetic in practice.It also can develop people’s essential strength in practice and personality, and built free personality. Finally, people can reach the freedom of ideal.This article first introduce FengQi and his philosophy theory and analysis the social characteristics while FengQi living and the development course of FengQi’s freedom theory, that we try to find theoretical foundation of his freedom theory. After that we can integrate FengQi’s freedom theory:Firstly, define the meaning of freedom. The freedom theory of FengQi can be summed in two parts---the freedom realm and the free status in process; Secondly,through the analyzing of FengQi’s freedom theory and human nature, personal freedom and freedom of the whole society, freedom and necessity, freedom and ideal,to make the meaning of freedom clarify further; Thirdly, this paper discusses about how to realize the freedom of human.Fengqi believes that in the process of realization of freedom the values of truth, goodness, beauty play important roles, he use the principles of " transform theory into method, transform theory into virtue"as methodology in human life, then the people can be free; Fourthly, this paper discusses about the meaning and training methods of FengQi’s common free personality, it says that get freedom is as same as get free personality, both of them are too close to separate and they can help each other forward.Finally, this paper evaluate FengQi’s freedom theory, expound the rationality of FengQi’s freedom theory and its theoretical leap, how it is surmount marxist philosophy and develop Chinese traditional philosophy, pointed out that FengQi’s freedom theory has certain theoretical value and application value, but there also have some problems we can’t ignore.FengQi’s freedom theory is an outstanding achievement in sinicization of Marxism, and it is based on Marxist practical materialism, and combining with the advantage of Chinese traditional philosophy. It points that "freedom is people achieve ideal","human freedom is combine truth, goodness, beauty "etc, has profound value, that will be constantly developed and improved guide people enjoy the freedom, and ultimately to achieve freedom..
