As one of the basic communicative activitiy of human being, translation is a processs inwhich the information written in one language is transferred into an ther by its subject—human,translation acitivities rely on its subject, and at the same time, it is also inseparablefrom ecological environment. As an interdisciplinary field between Translation and Ecology,Translation Ecology analyses the natural environment, social environment, standardenvironment, the physical and psychological environment of translation and the translator’scharacteristics from the perspective of ecology and solves the problems during translation. Itis the integration of social sciences and natural sciences. The thesis analyses the HispanicAmerican women writer Sandra Cisneros ’s work The House on Mango from the perspectiveof Translation Ecology, and analyses the original text excerpts and its translation, discussesthe focus of Translation Ecology under the guidance of “ecological balance”, which includesthe balance and imbalance in translation ecology. Find out the balance point of translationbetween authors and readers by providing them the impact of the natural environment, socialenvironment, standard environment, the impact of translator’s psycho and physiologicalenvironment of the translation of literary works, reduce mistranslations, so that the process oftranslation could be more explicit, and the translation could be more accurate and reflect thereal meaning of the original ideas.
