This article is about visual culture studies,the basic point is that visual culture is related with the consumption. Article combing the research of theory in the past,and clear visual culture formation and its development.To put visual culture considerations in the social environment. Visual culture is a culture about "how people seeing and being seen".Points out that Visual culture is visual,virtualization, popularized, commercialized, fragmentation, and other features.Currently, through two paths,body and object to present manifestations of visual culture in everyday life.Points out that visual culture have meet dilemma, like excessive image symb-olization, currency-economic over development, reading less, destruction of ethics and lack of authenticity.It cause by many reasons,like the nature of visual,the formation of consumerism,the bias of Belief and the development of visual technolog-ies.To use the paths with awareness and media solve those issues.
