The research on the character design differences between the Chinese and foreignanimated monsters is the analysis which is based on the social status quo that the monstercharacters are in vogue in nowadays animation works. The aim is to analysis the advantagesand disadvantages between the monster character design in animation works at home andabroad through the comparison.And summarizing the future development trend of the worldanimation monster character design, so as to guide the development direction of our countryanimation monster character design in the future.According to the successively steps of the animation character design materials, design ofrole affect and role modeling performance in the role design of animation character, the wholetext is divided into three parts: the differences of the design thought, the differences of the roleaffect, the differences of the role presentation between the Chinese and foreign animatedmonsters characters’ design to analysis the main differences between the animated monsterscharacter design at home and abroad.
