Research On Application Of Cartoon In Animation Character Design—Design And Implementation Of Flash Animation "Dog’s Happiness"

Painting is generally a kind of modeling method of animation artistic modeling. And cartoon is a very important approach which makes modeling design by means of exaggeration, deformation, decoration, simplification,ect.Cartoon is not only a kind of important animation modeling technique, but also an independent form of artistic expression, which has its unique aesthetic expression and artistic connotation. It plays a significant role in animation making process, role shaping, setting of the scene atmosphere as well as the theme creating. Therefore, the research on application of cartoon in animation character design has its researching significance and practical value.First of all, this paper explores the basic thinking and expression of achieving "the value of life and the happiness" by the creation of 2 D animation.Then, in the process of animation making,it clarifies and analyses the significant role of cartoon in animation role shaping and the relationship in creation.Finally, in the research on striking creating of animation cartoon is not only a kind of modeling method but also an essential part in thematic expression of striking implementation of animation and forming of artistic expression.This paper focuses on the analysis of influence of cartoon on connotation and artistic charm of animation.On the basis of production and expression of the animation"Dog’s happiness", this research analyses the creativity, planning, design and the whole producing process of this projects, identifies the differences as well as the similarities between cartoon and animation character, explores the possibility and the means of combining the cartoon with animation character, and deduces the development and sublimation of cartoon in animation character design.During the study, this research is carried out with the chance of designing and implementation of the project "Dog’s Happiness", establishing a systematic understanding of cartoon and animation character design, exploring how cartoon elements influences the animation character design by analyzing cartoon practice cases, summarizing the applicable regularities, and focusing on the further influence on animation character design by the relationship between cartoon and cultural connotation as well as visual expression and whole construction, which aims to make people have a further understanding of cartoon and animation artistic modeling, and promotes the development of animation with artistic style of Chinese national culture.Cartoon design in animation modeling is a practical art. Only the study and the summary of life and environment which are applied to the practice and proved by practice can create distinctive and vivid animation characters.Only by mastering the motion regularities of the animation can the designers make the animation moving and alive, reflecting the artistic value of the animation.The creation of the movement of television and animation can not only be limited to techniques of cartoon making, because in the final analysis the cartoon techniques serves the artistic expression. Only on the basis of using design regularities of cartoon and creating with a creative heart will designers can make the animation characters vital and infectious,which will inspire and promote the animation creating.
