In the contemporary, the role of culture on economic, political and social development is more and more important, culture has become the main theme of the21st century. Grasping the development of contemporary culture, analyzing new Characteristics and new trends of contemporary culture provide practical guidance to improve China’s soft power of culture and build Socialist cultural power, in this thesis, it is a purpose to expand the theoretical study. Culture as a survival mode which been widely followed and can bring a sense of belonging to national community members and becomes the source of national cohesion, self-innovation of culture and the mutual creative between human and culture become a source of national, as soft power culture by influencing military, technological and other elements of hard power become an important factor in the competition of comprehensive national strength, culture through guiding the direction of economic development, regulating the environment for economic development and transforming the economic development mode become an important support for economic and social development, arrival of cultural era and people’s desire for self-development making cultural life become people’s ardent desire.The research of new trends of contemporary culture in the context of globalization, after analyzing the performance of cultural development in the context of economic globalization, such as inequality of culture exchange, rapid development of cultural industries, integration of culture and economy and formation of the network culture etc., have a conclusion that Cultural Globalization, Cultural Economization, Cultural Network are the new trends of contemporary culture. And systemically arrange the relation of Cultural Globalization, Cultural Economization and Cultural Network to have a result that the trend are getting mutual integration.
